They are seeking an experienced accounting and finance professional to join their team as a Financial Controller, responsible for financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Lead accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger

Lead semi-annual budgeting & forecasting process

Prepare and present financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports to senior management

Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management, including scenario modelling, efficiency measures, and variance against budget

Use financial software to track and manage financial data - including creation and maintenance of KPI metrics and dashboards

Maintain accurate accounting of all records and ledgers

Develop and document internal controls, policies, and financial regulations

Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and financial regulations

Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation

Process accounts payable/receivable and payroll as needed

Implement and improve financial systems, processes, and controls
