Senior Civil Engineer
American Electric Power (AEP) is seeking a Civil Engineer with six or more years of civil site engineering experience to join their Civil / Geotechnical Engineering group in New Albany, OH. The role involves performing civil site engineering, land development, stormwater management design, and roadway design assignments for Electric Substation, Transmission Line, and Telecommunications projects.

Required
Six (6) or more years of civil site engineering experience
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering in a program accredited by ABET or four (4) years of related engineering experience along with a master's or PhD in Civil Engineering from a program accredited by ABET
Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in any U.S. state or Puerto Rico is required
Knowledge of civil site engineering principles related to site grading, stormwater management, drainage design/analysis, roadway design, retaining walls, erosion and sediment control, permitting, and surveying
Preferred
Knowledge and/or experience using AutoCAD and Civil3D software
