Business Development Manager, Janitorial Services
WellNest Professional Cleaning is seeking a Business Development Manager to develop new commercial cleaning accounts within the Washington, DC Metro Area. The role involves creating sales strategies, maintaining relationships with property managers and real estate investors, and achieving sales quotas.
Responsibilities
Maintain a clean and organized network of Real Estate Professionals involved in the procurement process for janitorial services
Develop and execute short and long-term sales plans, maintain present sales, attract and connect with new prospects, create proposals, respond to RFPs, and facilitate and close new business in conjunction with the company President
Prospect for new business by cold calling, attending local networking events, and lead generation & qualification
Drive lead generation and support company President in closing on leads
Position yourself within your territory as a leader in your field. Establish a diverse network of relationships that reflect our company and our core values. Include people of influence within our industry, key community partners, strategic partners, and prospective clients
Monitor bid schedules and understand the competition in the marketplace fully
Assist in training in both formal and informal situations as needed
Develop a network of skilled and informed operators. Partner with them to ensure understanding of prospects, clients, and your sales territory
Qualification
Required
5+ years of service sales experience to the Commercial Real Estate community, including finding, qualifying, and closing new business primarily through cold calls and self-generated leads
Experience with and/or working knowledge of facility services, janitorial, commercial real estate, property management companies, or other related fields strongly desired
Strength in writing and presenting compelling, detailed, sales proposals
Experience pricing labor within proposals preferred

Aggressive lead generation mentality
History of success in selling B2B services to CRE clientele
Organized, efficient, and polished
Collaborative with the ability to work successfully within a tight-knit, lean team of service professionals in a 'start-up' environment
Advanced computer skills in MS Office and Salesforce or another CRM
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce.com (or similar CRM)
