RF Power Amplifier Design Engineer, Principal

Responsibilities

Design solid-state power amplifiers at RF, microwave, and millimeter-wave frequencies
Analyze and resolve highly complex technical problems quickly and independently
Work onsite with a team including mechanical engineers, process engineers, and electrical engineers
Test and verify amplifier designs against rigid specifications

Required

Extensive experience designing UHF, microwave, or millimeter-wave solid-state amplifiers
Experience in the use of design tools such as Microwave Office, ADS, or other similar tools
Ability to analyze and resolve highly complex technical problems quickly and independently
Ability to work onsite with a team including mechanical engineers, process engineers, and electrical engineers
Ability to work in a lab environment to test and verify amplifier designs against rigid specifications
Must be able to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing
BS degree in electrical engineering or equivalent and 10+ years of applicable experience is desired, or MS and 6+ years
Due to ITAR regulations, only candidates who are U.S. Persons (U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents, or individuals granted asylum or refugee status) will be considered for this position

Preferred

Design experience in meeting Military and High-Rel requirements is desired
Excellent spoken and written English
Self-motivated with strong planning and organizational skills
Strong Analytical skills
Effective communication skills
Ability to work within a team environment
