Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility will be to analyze production processes to identify and eliminate waste, reduce cycle times, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
You will develop and optimize process parameters for atomized products and powder classification/sizing systems to improve yield, quality, and throughput
Further you will provide hands-on technical support to production and maintenance teams to resolve daily production issues and implement robust corrective actions
Develop manufacturing routings, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions for new and existing products
Analyze production data and prepare reports on process performance metrics
Conduct process trials and validation runs, collecting and analyzing data to ensure processes are optimized
Serve as the primary technical lead for the installation and startup of new equipment
Also, you will lead continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial or other related Engineering or Engineering Technology field required
3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing or industrial process environment required
Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks/projects in a demanding environment
Demonstrated good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
Demonstrated experience in analytical and data-driven process improvement, troubleshooting, and applying engineering principles on the plant floor
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, statistical analytical software (Minitab), and AutoCAD
Preferred
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred
