PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking a Tanium Administrator, Information Technology (IT) Asset Visibility and Security Engineer. This role involves implementing cybersecurity strategies and managing IT asset lifecycles while ensuring the security of the digital network and connected assets within the IT environment.

Responsibilities
Guiding the design and implementation of secure solutions and services across our business and IT support areas
Security architecture across a variety of applications or domains, including cloud computing, and assigned to project/initiatives of large size, complexity, and risk
Driving successful configuration and implementation of security solutions to reduce risk
Developing actionable security blueprints, princicples, models, designs, standards, and guidelines to ensure information technology architecture and support is consistent, usable, secure, and adds value to the business
Qualification
Required
Strong demonstrated experience in large enterprise IT environment including 8+ years of IT security experience
Application of asset visibility solutions towards IT hardware and software asset management security efforts and IT asset lifecycle management supporting both IT operations and security efforts including OS patching, application maintenance, vulnerability management, and security event investigation support
Accredited and relevant college degree (computer science, information systems, etc.) or congruent work experience
Documented enterprise-based experience as a Tanium administrator
Tanium certification
A minimum of eight (8) to twelve (12) years' relevant experience
A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required. If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field then four additional years of related experience is required
Typically performs all functional duties independently
Preferred
Specific technical knowledge, experience, and certifications with relevant tools such as Armis Centrix, Splunk use and knowledge object development, Windows and Linux system administration, AI tool application for data analysis and business process improvement
Relevant technical certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, RHCE, CPTE, or CEH)
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts
Ability to build & maintain schedules and step-by-step action plans
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to positively influence peer organization and key stakeholders
