Fraud Modeling Compliance Representative
California Franchise Tax Board is seeking a Fraud Modeling Compliance Representative to assist in departmental fraud prevention and detection activities. The role involves communicating with external customers about fraud schemes, developing and maintaining processes to strengthen the integrity of return filing programs, and conducting independent analysis to provide recommendations to management.

Responsibilities
Work closely with professional and technical staff in departmental fraud prevention and detection activities, including Identification (ID) Theft
Communicate with external customers regarding fraud schemes and fraud leads
Develop, implement, and maintain various system and manual processes to help strengthen the integrity of the department’s return filing programs
Conduct independent analysis and provide recommendations to management based on findings
Conduct inventory management via pivot table and dataset analysis through Microsoft Excel
Qualification

Knowledge of and intermediate to advanced level experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio, Access, and PowerPoint)
Knowledge of Return Analysis, Case Management, Taxpayer Folder, Taxpayer Information (TI), Integrated Non-filer Compliance (INC), Accounting and Compliance Enterprise System (ACES)
Working knowledge of Personal Income Tax (PIT) and Business Entity (BE) laws, policies, and procedures
