The Summer Student Nurse Internship program offers student nurses the opportunity to gain clinical experience, provide direct patient care, and develop communication and collaboration skills under the supervision of experienced nurses.

Qualification

BLS CertificationClinical Rotation ExperienceNursing FundamentalsInterdisciplinary CommunicationCollaboration Skills

Required

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing-entering the final year of the program

Must have successfully completed at least one clinical rotation and must have completed fundamentals of nursing prior to the program start

Must have BLS Certification

Must be available to commit to a minimum of 24 hours/week

The program will begin on May 26th and end on July 24th-It is mandatory to attend the entire Intern Orientation Program (first three days)
