They are seeking a Broadcast Engineering Manager to oversee complex engineering projects, manage a team of software engineers, and ensure compliance with operations and content standards.

Responsibilities

Manage the design, Requirements, Software build, maintenance and fixing bugs, improvements of broadcast technology, and oversee complex engineering projects from concept to production

Lead, train, motivate, and direct a team of software engineers. Manage performance, delegate tasks, and maintain a collaborative work environment

Act as a subject-matter expert to diagnose and resolve complex engineering and HD, SXM and Broadcast software- related issues

Ensure all operations and content comply with our head quarter in Korea, as well as maintaining a good relationship with the team in Korea

Manage department budgets, control expenses

Research and evaluate new technologies and recommend upgrades to improve efficiency, quality, and future growth of broadcast capabilities

Technical Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of broadcast, HD and SiriusXM Radio software including certification process for SXM and HD

Skills: Strong leadership, project management, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential. The role requires the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams

Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or electrical engineering or an equivalent combination of experience and training is typically required

Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in management and software automotive environment

Must have the ability to walk short distances, and/or drive a vehicle to deliver and pick up materials

40 hours per week

Occasional international travel

Frequent local travel
