Holden Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled and innovative Electrical Engineer to join their team at Vac-Con. This role involves the design, development, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and components used in high-performance sewer cleaning and hydro-excavation machinery.

Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical systems for sewer cleaning equipment, including control panels, wiring harnesses, and embedded systems

Collaborate with mechanical and design engineers to integrate electrical components into complex machinery

Create and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation

Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with industry standards

Support manufacturing and field service teams with technical expertise and training

Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., NEC, UL, CE)

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and product development cycles

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (required)

Proficiency in electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN)

Experience with PLC programming and industrial automation (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens)

Knowledge of motor control systems, sensors, and power distribution

Strong understanding of safety standards and regulatory compliance

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work in manufacturing and field environments, including exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb ladders as needed

Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when required

Preferred

Professional Engineer (PE) license or working toward licensure (preferred)

Familiarity with embedded systems and microcontroller programming is a plus

Continuing education or certifications in industrial automation or controls (a plus)
