Responsibilities

Class Action defense in consumer class actions including false advertising, product defect, breach of warranty, violation of consumer protection laws (required)

CA Unfair Competition Law (required)

Briefing class certification and/or summary judgment (required)

Drafting briefs, correspondence, and responding to written discovery

Conducting depositions, oral arguments, and expert interviews

Managing e-discovery

Required

3-5 years of experience with Class Action defense in consumer class actions including false advertising, product defect, breach of warranty, violation of consumer protection laws

Experience with CA Unfair Competition Law

Experience with briefing class certification and/or summary judgment

Experience with drafting briefs, correspondence, and responding to written discovery

Experience with conducting depositions, oral arguments, and expert interviews

Experience with managing e-discovery

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Strong case management skills, work ethic, and a team-oriented attitude

Active member of the California Bar or New York Bar
