Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Revenue Accountant in Camden County, NJ (Hybrid) with our client. You will oversee revenue recognition, reconciliations, and month-end close in alignment with U.S. GAAP and SOX standards while driving process improvements and ensuring reporting accuracy.

Responsibilities

Month-End Close: Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses to ensure timely and accurate financial results
Revenue Recognition: Validate data across systems and ensure compliance with GAAP and percentage-of-completion standards
Audit & Compliance: Support internal and external audits, maintaining adherence to SOX and internal control requirements
Process Improvement: Streamline accounting processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and documentation
Systems Integration: Assist with SAP implementation and automation initiatives to improve reporting accuracy
Collaboration: Partner with finance, operations, and management teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure transparency

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
4+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or the project-based construction industry
Advanced Excel proficiency with SAP experience and working knowledge of accounting systems such as Comsense, QuickBase, and QuickBooks
Strong understanding of revenue recognition (ASC 606), percentage-of-completion accounting, U.S. GAAP, and SOX compliance
Motivated, organized, and analytical professional with strong documentation and process improvement skills, adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
