They are seeking a Tower Technician Level 1 for their Wireless Service department, responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of wireless communication infrastructure on cell phone towers and other elevated structures.

Responsibilities

Assist in the installation, assembly and maintenance of wireless communication equipment including antennas, cables, and related components
Safely handle and transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from the worksite
Assist with the setup and operation of rigging, winches, and hoisting equipment
Learn and adhere to safety protocols and guidelines set forth by the company and government regulations
Assist in routine maintenance checks, inspections and troubleshooting to identify any potential issues
Collaborate with team members to complete tasks safely and efficiently
Assist in cleaning, organizing and maintenance of tools to ensure they are in proper working condition
Report damages and malfunctioning tools and equipment for repair and replacement
Adhere to industry standards, regulations, and safety procedures per government and company regulations
Work as part of a crew and communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operation
Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices
Perform other job-duties as assigned

Required

Must pass the pre-employment screening process which includes a background check, drug test and motor vehicle records pull
Have the ability and mentality to work outdoors, in a physically demanding work environment and all-weather conditions, lifting or moving up to 50lbs., and hiking over various terrain
Possess a current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record with no DUI / DWIs within the past 5 years
Be available to work nights and weekends as required by project demands
Willing to travel locally, statewide, or regionally as required
Trade school or equivalent experience
Demonstrate abilities to successfully complete job tasks while accepting full responsibility for the safe operations and maintenance of the vehicle, equipment, and tools
