Confidential Assistant to the Chief Compliance Officer

Responsibilities
Serves as a high-level, confidential assistant to the Chief Compliance Officer
Functions as management liaison for the Chief Compliance Officer with department staff involved in the operations and activities of the Division
Plans, develops, and organizes special projects, research, and studies related to highly sensitive, confidential compliance documents
Maintains confidential compliance reports and documents related to Department regulatory compliance activities
Reviews and responds to confidential and high priority email, mail, and calls
Assists with the Compliance Unit timekeeping approvals, vehicle reports, and other administrative tasks related to the Division
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above
Qualification
Required
Requires knowledge skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college with courses in public or business administration
Requires two (2) years of professional experience in a public or private organization
Requires ability to travel in the performance of duties, with overnight stays as appropriate
Requires ability to pass the IDOC/IDJJ background check
Requires ability to pass a drug screen. The use of unauthorized drugs by an employee, regardless of the position held is prohibited
Required to utilize digital technology, tools, platforms, and processes in managing and supporting various digital enhancements for greater efficiency, productivity, and digital transformation efforts within the department
Applicants are required to abide by all vaccine and/or other medical standards as set out by the employer
Preferred
Prefers at least four (4) years of experience working with and maintaining confidential information
Prefers at least three (3) years of experience effectively communicating with high level personnel at local, state, and federal agencies
Prefers at least three (3) years of experience interpreting and explaining Department Rules, Administrative Directives, methods, and procedures
Prefers at least two (2) years of experience organizing and completing requests for confidential information and research
