5+ years expIMDb is seeking an experienced Senior UX Researcher to lead in-depth studies to better understand customer needs and translate insights into transformative digital experiences. The role involves driving complex research and shaping the intersection of research and AI across IMDb products, while collaborating with design, engineering, and product leaders.

Responsibilities
Own the UX research vision and strategy across IMDb businesses and products, ensuring these insights drive intuitive, elegant, and scalable customer experiences
Independently design and lead quantitative and qualitative research projects, including survey design, statistical analysis, and behavioral analytics
Inform segmentation studies and persona development specific to our customer audiences
Triangulate research insights with engagement metrics to create compelling narratives that drive product improvements and business strategy
Synthesize findings from research work streams to identify patterns and opportunities across the fan and professional experiences
Set the bar for AI-focused user research by developing and adapting methodologies to understand how customers interact with AI systems, building trust and driving adoption
Build mechanisms for regularly communicating insights and influence decision-makers at all levels to act on research findings, driving customer delight and business objectives
Qualification
Required
5+ years of proven success leading User Research projects with demonstrated impact experience
5+ years of hands-on work with: field research, ethnography, lab-based user testing, remote testing, paper prototype testing, iterative prototype testing, concept testing, and survey design experience
Bachelor's degree in HCDE, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field
Experience in leading User Research projects with demonstrated impact
Experience with field research, ethnography, lab-based user testing, remote testing, paper prototype testing, iterative prototype testing, concept testing, and survey design
Experience with all aspects of research (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting)
Experience with behavioral data collection, quantitative data analysis, and statistics
Have a portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables (e.g., study plans, reports, personas)
Preferred
Master's degree in Human Factors, HCDE, Cognitive Psychology or equivalent
Experience in a technical field (software development, network development, IT, other related)
Experience with UX Research in non-US markets
Experience working in a highly Agile/Scrum environment
