New Grad, Entry LevelBY Recruiting is seeking a Design Engineer to support the design and development of automotive interior components for major OEM programs, primarily Toyota and Honda. This role involves collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and OEM customers to deliver high-quality, cost-effective designs from concept through production.

Responsibilities
Design and develop automotive interior parts following established product development processes
Create, modify, and validate CAD data using CATIA V5
Coordinate with OEM customers on design requirements and changes
Support supplier coordination including RFQ activities and technical reviews
Prepare cost estimates per internal procedures
Receive and distribute customer design data to internal teams and suppliers
Support trial builds and evaluations at customer, supplier, and internal facilities
Collaborate with overseas design teams once fully trained
Support R&D initiatives and operational efficiency improvements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Proficiency with CATIA V5
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred
Experience with automotive product design preferred
Familiarity with OEM development processes (Toyota / Honda a plus)
