Responsibilities

Design and develop technical training shipboard training for all levels of personnel via technical references Tech Manual, Blue Prints, drawings etc
Develop test, visual aids, and develop a criteria for evaluating effectiveness of developed training
Communicate with the leadership of the customer and build a bond for future encounters
Develop an in-house program and practice to identify developmental needs, including preparing the assignments
Be responsible for development of E-learning and possibly a Virtual reality system
Utilize student guides and other training aids aboard a US Carrier

Required

6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience
Must have knowledge/understanding of training principles, concepts, and practices
Must have advanced knowledge in shipboard Aircraft and Weapons Elevators Electro-Hydraulic systems, general knowledge in Advanced Weapons Elevators Systems, and Vertical Package Conveyors
Must have hands on experience and/or working knowledge of shipboard mechanical systems
Must have experience communicating with government or related customers
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to carry up to 50lbs of student guides and other training aids aboard a US Carrier
Must be able to travel
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
Must be able to obtain and maintain base access credentials

Preferred

Naval Master Training Specialist preferred
A current, valid DoD confidential security clearance or higher
Hands on experience and/or working knowledge of shipboard mechanical and/or pneumatic systems preferred
