Senior Penetration Tester, US Amazon Dedicated Cloud Security
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Red Team Senior Security Engineer to enhance security against emerging threats. The role involves conducting offensive campaigns, maintaining automated threat emulation solutions, and providing mentorship across the AWS IT Security team.

Responsibilities
Vulnerability Identification and Tracking
Offensive security testing & vulnerability deep dives
Emergent threat testing
Creating/maintaining automated threat emulation solutions
Recommendation of findings and threat mitigations
Produce high quality red team reports
Projects and research work as needed
Security training and outreach to internal development teams
Security guidance documentation
Security tool development
Security metrics delivery and improvements
Assistance with recruiting activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree, or CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) or CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) or CFR (CyberSec First Responder) or Cloud+ or CySA+ (CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst) or GCED (GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender) or GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) or PenTest+
5+ years of experience performing security investigations, penetration testing, and/or incident response in the context of large organizations
Experience in technical leadership in security (e.g., tech lead, developed security architecture for a product or system, led technical component of security project, etc.)
Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
Preferred
Experience in ownership of projects and communicating timelines and executing independently
Experience managing large-scale projects from end to end
Offensive Security Certified Expert (OSCE), SANS GXPN equivalent or higher
Has demonstratable expertise using current cyber security threat emulation, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
Experience leading and coaching junior security engineers to improve their skills and effectiveness
