.NET Developer – IMS Applications (Vertafore / MGA Systems Experience)

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications with a focus on insurance and MGA workflows
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements and customizations for IMS platforms (e.g., Vertafore, MGA Systems)
Integrate with third-party services, APIs, and legacy insurance software
Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications
Conduct unit and integration testing, ensuring robust and error-free code
Debug and resolve application issues, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents
Maintain technical documentation and ensure coding best practices are followed
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in .NET application development (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core)
Strong knowledge of SQL Server, relational database design, and data integration
Proven experience with insurance industry systems, preferably Vertafore (e.g., AMS360, Sagitta) or MGA Systems
Familiarity with insurance workflows: policy administration, billing, claims, underwriting, etc
Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, XML, and JSON data formats
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment
