Management of Finance Department staff in all accounting, financial reporting, treasury, revenue collecting and licensing, payroll, accounts payable, sales/use tax, utility billing, debt management and risk management (property/casualty and general liability) activities for City of Golden
Responsible for the Fleet Department
Leads a team of 16 FTEs and has 2 direct reports: the Deputy Finance Director and Fleet Manager
Qualification
Required
Management of Finance Department staff in all accounting, financial reporting, treasury, revenue collecting and licensing, payroll, accounts payable, sales/use tax, utility billing, debt management and risk management activities
Experience leading a team of 16 FTEs
Direct reporting experience with the Deputy Finance Director and Fleet Manager
Ability to work under the Council-Manager form of government
Commitment to providing high levels of service to the community
Experience in a full-service city government environment
Understanding of budget management with a 2026 operating budget of $112 million and an all-funds budget of $150 million
