They are seeking a Mid-Level Cloud Architect to support enterprise transformation initiatives across GEOINT mission systems by applying systems engineering and integration expertise to modernize architectures and enhance mission capabilities.

Responsibilities

Partner with Expert and Senior Systems Engineers, Integrators, and Architects

Perform architecture gap analysis and develop the Future State Enterprise Architecture

Conduct engineering analyses to inform GEOINT Mission and IT capability investment decisions in alignment with the Enterprise Architecture baseline

Conduct baseline analysis, driving allocation of requirements to systems architecture components and executing programs and end-to-end traceability of requirements, architecture, etc

Help advance NGA’s multiple cloud acquisition, through enterprise architecture and requirements activities. Identifies and documents associated Risks, Issues, and Opportunities

Capture and translate mission and customer requirements/needs into systems/capability requirements and solutions

Perform systems integration activities across organizations; participate in integrated project teams, driving the development of project plans, architecture and engineering artifacts (e.g., CONOPS), roadmaps / schedules, Risks, etc

Participate in Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Course of Actions (CoAs), Trade Studies, and Engineering Assessments

Participate in NGA Governance, Configuration Management, and Risk Management processes

Help define modernized system integration processes, driving enhanced adoption of agile practices and digital engineering, efficiencies, and increased partnerships across a large number of organizations

Required

An Active TS/SCI with a CI Polygraph is required

A TS/SCI with ability to polygraph may be considered if all required and desired qualifications are met

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or equivalent Mid level experience as a Cloud Architect

Understanding and demonstrated Mid-level working experience with systems engineering processes (e.g., Architecture, Requirements, Integration, Test, and/or Transition)

6-12+ years of working experience in cloud-based systems architecting
