Customer Support Representative

First Federal Bank of Wisconsin is seeking a Customer Support Representative to be the first point of contact for customers. The role involves assisting customers with account concerns, addressing inquiries, and providing administrative support while ensuring compliance with banking regulations.

Responsibilities

Respond to incoming calls and direct to proper department for assistance
Respond to customers and vendors and direct to proper department for assistance
Document drafting, report preparation and document verification as needed
Clerical and filing duties as needed
Handle customer support inquiries, as well as researching and resolving customer concerns via telephone and mail
Act as the customer liaison between other Bank departments when necessary
Assist customers and employees with inquiries and issues related to deposit accounts (excluding IRA and HSA), loans, debit/ATM cards and electronic banking products
Cross-sell Bank products and services based on the needs of the customer, as well as meet sales and referral goals as assigned
Maintain, update, and verify customer and account maintenance
Provide feedback to management of critical issues, interest, and concerns of customer to support ongoing efforts to improve products and services
Assist customers and employees with inquiries and issues related to deceased customers
Perform Banker duties if staffing demands require
Perform other duties as assigned
Follow First Federal Bank of Wisconsin policies and procedures
Follow all state and federal banking regulations

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent
At least one year financial service experience
General clerical experience
Accuracy and attention to detail
Sound knowledge of Bank financial services and philosophy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
Ability to prioritize
Aptitude for detail work
Good communication and listening skills
Tact and diplomacy in dealing with both customers and employees
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work well under pressure
Pleasant telephone manner
Problem solving skills
Flexibility and ability to multitask
