Summer Intern/Molecular Design
GSK is a global biopharma company focused on uniting science, technology, and talent to advance health. The Molecular Design group is offering a 3-month summer internship where interns will gain hands-on experience in drug discovery, including computational modeling of small molecules and modalities.

Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Ph.D. in computational chemistry, cheminformatics, machine learning methods or related discipline
Must be able to work full-time (35-40 hours/week) throughout the duration of the 12 week internship (May/June ~ August 2026)
Must have an active student status and/or within 12 months post-graduation from a BS or MS degree program. Post-doctoral candidates are not eligible
Knowledge of chemical and protein structure
Knowledge of small molecules, protein degraders, antibody-drug conjugates or oligonucleotide therapies
Knowledge of cheminformatics, machine learning and QSAR methods
Proficient in programming and/or scripting (e.g., Python, Perl, C/C++)
Experience using cloud-based or high-performance computing clusters for molecular simulation
Expertise in chemistry, computational chemistry, or drug discovery
Must successfully pass a drug screen and background check prior to assignment target start date
Completion of the immersive GSK Digital Assessment is required to proceed in the application process
