Information Technology Analyst/Programmer II - Office of the City Engineer
The City of Phoenix is responsible for overseeing significant capital improvement projects and is seeking an Information Technology Analyst/Programmer II to join their team. This role involves managing the Construction Project Management Information System (CPMIS), which is essential for overseeing numerous active projects, and requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure effective project management and system integrity.

Responsibilities
Identifying configuration improvements and defects
Planning, developing, training, and rolling out changes to the CPMIS
Providing ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of any issues
Developing and maintaining configuration, and security management of the CPMIS
Conducting performance monitoring and system integrity checks in the CPMIS
Managing configuration of business processes, user administration, data views, reports, and dashboards
Implementing necessary corrections in the development environment and migrating changes to the production environment
Collaborating with stakeholders to perform detailed requirements analysis, documenting current and future processes, and managing all aspects of testing and implementation
Qualification
Required
Two years of experience in computer applications programming and development and systems analysis
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, mathematics, or a related field
Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted
All finalists for positions are subject to a criminal background check applicable to the department or position
Some positions require the use of personal or City vehicles on City business. Individuals must be physically capable of operating the vehicles safely, possess a valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving record. Use of a personal vehicle for City business will be prohibited if the employee is not authorized to drive a City vehicle or if the employee does not have personal insurance coverage
Preferred
Three years of experience rolling out and implementing enterprise software applications similar to Oracle Unifier, including planning, configuration, user training, and post-deployment support
