SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING SPECIALIST
Talking Stick Resort is seeking a Social Media Marketing Specialist to enhance their digital presence across various platforms. This role involves developing content strategies, executing multimedia campaigns, and engaging with guests to drive brand awareness and community building.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute creative social media campaigns aligned with enterprise-wide marketing goals
Create and publish high-quality, engaging content (photo, video, stories, Reels, copy, etc.) across all channels
Capture real-time event content including live posting, behind-the-scenes moments, and post-event recaps
Maintain an organized content calendar to ensure consistent and timely messaging
Write compelling, on-brand copy tailored to each platform to drive conversation and engagement
Monitor audience sentiment, comments, DMs, and mentions; respond in a timely, professional manner
Track and report on analytics, campaign performance, and growth trends; adjust strategy accordingly
Collaborate with influencers and content creators: manage outreach, briefs, approvals, and performance tracking
Stay current with evolving platform algorithms, tools, and digital storytelling formats
Partner with internal teams (design, culinary, eCommerce, hotel, entertainment) to support cross-channel promotions
Maintain proper documentation such as content logs, usage rights, and photo releases
Work with and book influencers at both properties
Write MOU’s for influencers
Research influencers follow numbers
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor's degree required in Marketing or degree in closely related fields such as Business, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or Advertising may be considered with demonstrated experience in marketing
3+ years of professional experience in a marketing environment is required, preferably within the casino or hospitality industry
Experience must include hands-on involvement in online marketing campaigns and/or social media management
Proficient in managing a variety of online and social media platforms for business such as Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Snapchat
Knowledge of social media publishing and listening tools, such as Sprout Social and/or Meta Business Suite
Knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as basic Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or graphic design is required
Knowledge of SEO, social listening, and social analytics platforms
Experience with influencer activations and UGC campaigns
Must demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills
Must be a team player, solutions-oriented, and accountable
Must always present a well-groomed, professional appearance
Excellent grammar, storytelling, and on-brand copywriting skills
Strong visual and creative judgment with an eye for detail and storytelling aesthetics
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and pivot quickly during live coverage
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Flexible schedule required, including availability for nights, weekends, and holiday events
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Preferred
Additional training or certifications in digital marketing, advertising, or public relations are considered a plus
Basic photography/videography and editing skills are a plus
A sense of humor, adaptability, and audience intuition are strongly preferred
