Responsibilities
Performing various assembly tasks in support of the company's Production function including soldering, crimping, cable-making, and other general assembly work
Following established processes and procedures to support the final assembly of products
Assisting with the testing, evaluation, and deployment of products
Providing recommendations for process improvement
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with assembly tools and materials; must have soldering and cable making experience
Strong electro-mechanical background
Experience in a manufacturing/assembly environment; electronics preferred
Position requires strong manual dexterity, including both gross and fine manipulation; ability to assemble products by hand
Working knowledge of computer software, including word processing, Internet, and e-mail
Must have a United States security clearance or the ability to obtain a United States security clearance
Preferred
Associate degree in a technical field
Demonstrated experience with root-cause analysis and troubleshooting
Demonstrated experience with quality control and facilitating continuous process improvement
