Responsibilities

Shape and lead Eurasia Group’s climate transition coverage across industries, collaborating closely with other departments

Train and collaborate with junior staff on climate policy issues

Assess country and regional political risks associated with sustainable finance

Conduct thorough research and produce both concise, forward-looking analyses and comprehensive reports for clients

Brief financial sector and corporate clients at both high and technical levels

Meet tight deadlines and write in a clear, business-oriented manner

Travel regularly across different regions, 25-30%

Required

Have 8-10 years of experience conducting research on climate policy, with an understanding of its relevance to investors, large corporations, and markets

Possess deep knowledge of sustainable finance and climate-related regulatory efforts

Hold an advanced degree in political science, environmental science, or a related field

Demonstrate excellent analytical and presentation skills, both oral and written; write clearly and quickly, and efficiently review and edit colleagues' work

Have experience integrating ESG considerations into responsible investment decision-making processes at both the country and sectoral levels

Have prior experience in consulting, large financial institutions, or leading organizations working with or for investors
