Responsibilities
Develop and evaluate structural designs for flight vehicles
Ensure designs meet performance, functional, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design, integration, and documentation
Apply knowledge of metallic structural design
Utilize CATIA and Boeing design processes; experience with ENOVIA preferred
Work on Boeing or Spirit AeroSystems commercial structures, with emphasis on primary structures
Support product development, new design, and post-delivery evaluations
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in Engineering required; engineering degrees strongly preferred over drafter/technical designer backgrounds
Minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace structural design, ideally with Boeing, Airbus, or Spirit AeroSystems
Experience with primary and secondary structures, payloads, lofting, and weight analysis
Strong collaboration and communication skills
