Business Development Specialist (Field-Based)

Service Champions Heating & Air Conditioning is a recognized leader in home services, serving homeowners across the Bay Area and Sacramento since 2003. The Business Development Specialist is responsible for creating new business relationships and driving growth for residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services through proactive outreach and networking.

Responsibilities

Identify and engage potential partners (employers, HOAs, realtors, lenders, inspectors, utilities, community groups)
Conduct in-person visits, attend networking events, and participate in community activities to promote services
Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers
Develop referral programs and partnership agreements to generate leads
Research local market trends and identify new growth opportunities
Represent the company at trade shows, community fairs, and industry events
Work closely with marketing and operations teams to align outreach efforts
Maintain accurate records of contacts, meetings, and pipeline in CRM
Provide weekly reports on activities, leads generated, and conversion progress

Required

2+ years of success in business development, field marketing, or sales
Elite Communication: You are a 'people person' who can navigate various social dynamics and build trust with diverse groups of people
Self-Starting Grit: You don't need a manager looking over your shoulder to stay motivated; you are driven by targets and the 'thrill of the hunt.'
Technical Proficiency: You are comfortable using CRM tools (Salesforce, Service Titan, etc.) and Microsoft Office to manage your workflow
Mobility: A valid driver's license and the ability to travel daily in a company vehicle throughout your assigned territory is required

Preferred

Experience in residential services or B2C is highly preferred
