Perform verification testing on circuit boards and various assemblies
Any additional tasks as deemed necessary
Qualification
Required
The Test Technician must have a technology background experience in power electronics and a versatile hands-on individual with good analytical skills
Experience with power in the ranges of 480 VAC 3phase and 240 VDC
DC/AC principles and electrical language
Diploma or Certificate in Electronics program or equivalent experience or Military equivalent experience
Preferred
Must possess electrical and mechanical aptitude and basic skills with electro/mechanical assembly and must be proficient with the use hand tools
Must have knowledge in the use of multi-meters and other basic instruments
Have basic knowledge in the use of multi-purpose test instruments such as oscilloscopes, component testers, digital test equipment
Possess the ability to read: wiring diagrams, assembly prints, schematics and parts lists and have a basic understanding of electronic circuits
Must be computer literate and have some knowledge of MS Word and Excel
Must possess the ability to work in a team environment as well as being able to manage time with little supervision
Ability to multitask is a must
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills and troubleshooting skills
Possess some knowledge of AC/DC power electronics
Must be willing to work with voltages as high as 480 VAC 3phase and 240 VDC
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good troubleshooting skills
