Civil Foreman

Responsibilities
Lead a small team through the building and maintenance of cell towers, small cells, and other wireless equipment and structures
Install, maintain, and upgrade Telcom cabinets and shelters, performing all room-ready required work
Interact with customers and subcontractors, complete necessary paperwork, and communicate with the construction manager about work progress and known issues
Review and approve crew's work, providing training, guidance, and work leadership necessary to maximize safety and productivity, minimize costs, and maintain quality
Train a crew on all positions and provide developmental training opportunities for crew members wishing to advance in the company
Manage jobs within the required timeframe and approved budget
Effectively resolve issues in a dynamic environment
Track and report primary and ancillary material use, manage and order inventory, and document maintenance of all equipment
Install and test DC and AC power circuits, fiber jumpers, and ethernet cables
Label and/or color code equipment, power circuits, and fibers per carrier requirements
Perform grounding, terminations, fastening, proper bolting and antioxidant use, support of leads, cadwelding as required, etc
Assist on all jobs, including groundwork and all tasks required to build and install a site per customer specs
Read and understand drawings, piping diagrams, job specifications, mounting specs, testing procedures, and similar documents
Perform general construction of tower sites, including site layouts, clearing, excavation, foundations/slabs, tower assembly, trenching/conduit installation, ice bridge, h-frames, fencing, aggregate roads/compounds, cabinet placement and securing, and other tasks, working with and around heavy equipment
Lift up to 75 pounds
Drive a truck and trailer and back it up competently
Communicate effectively and respectfully, both verbally and in writing
Pass required pre-employment processes, including a background check, DOT inspection, and drug screen

Required
Ability to perform tower construction duties in outdoor environments, in all weather conditions
Ability to travel extensively within the market area
Willingness to assist on all jobs, including groundwork and all tasks required to build and install a site per customer specs
Basic computer skills and ability to complete/submit paperwork by required deadlines
Experience in the telecommunications industry
Ability to train a crew on all positions and provide developmental training opportunities for crew members wishing to advance in the company
Ability to successfully manage jobs within the required timeframe and approved budget
Ability to effectively resolve issues in a dynamic environment
