Senior Professional Engineer - Water Resources

Responsibilities

Design and analysis of water, wastewater and other infrastructure systems and facilities
Prepare studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a wide variety of water resource projects
Support project managers with client relations, stakeholder management, and sub-consultant coordination
Interface with clients including state and local agencies
Coordinate and conduct meetings with project stakeholders
Coordinate with office management and other project managers to share resources
Assist in proposal preparation including oral presentations. Also prepare the scope, schedule, and budget for new projects
Work within a team of project managers, design engineers, technicians, and support staff to successfully complete a variety of projects
Take ownership of projects from start to finish

Qualification

California Registered Professional EngineerWater/Wastewater Design ExperienceAutoCAD Civil 3DProject ManagementCommunication SkillsInterpersonal SkillsOrganizational Skills

Required

Undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited program in civil engineering (FE Complete)
California Registered Professional Engineer (PE) required
Knowledge and experience with, AutoCAD Civil 3D, 2D Modeling, and other applicable software
Solid organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to interact with clients and multi-discipline team members
Willingness to work on projects locally or in workshare with other offices
Possess a proven history of meeting project deadlines and budgets
Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Minimum 10 to 15 years of water / wastewater / infrastructure design experience
Ability to manage several projects concurrently

Preferred

Experience and relationships with water related or infrastructure agencies are highly preferred
Experience in managing technical staff and project teams is desirable
