Field Support Engineer
Activu Corporation is seeking a Field Support Engineer to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting at customer sites. The role involves interacting with end users, documenting work in the NetSuite CRM system, and assisting the customer support team with system issues.

Responsibilities
Perform maintenance activities as per vendor specifications on a variety of display products, servers, audiovideo equipment, etc., that are part of the integrated solution
Troubleshooting of the integrated solution as necessary, which includes addressing hardware (computers/servers, audio/video equipment)
Troubleshooting system configuration, network, and software/OS issues
Troubleshoot display equipment as needed, including interpreting error codes, determining cable vs. display issues, etc
Documenting all customer issues for use by support staff and management
Travel up to 9095% of the time
Other tasks assigned by Management from time to time
Qualification
Required
Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting at customer sites
Interact directly with end users to assist in problem resolution
Document all work performed while on-site in the NetSuite CRM system
Works with the customer support team to handle onsite Level 1 and 2 system issues
Must have extensive troubleshooting ability to assist the customer support team with on-site work for the customer base
Can train customers when required

Associate's Degree Required
Minimum of 3 years of Audio Video system integration experience with a focus on display cube setup and calibration required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Travel up to 9095% of the time
Applicants must be United States Citizens, have a valid Driver's License, be able to travel domestically or internationally, pass a Drug Test, and obtain Federal Clearance
All applicants are subject to drug and background testing before being hired
Preferred
Bachelor's Preferred
Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer support/service environment preferred
CTS certification preferred
Network+ and/or Security+ preferred
Familiar with either NetSuite cloud applications or other similar CRM systems
Time spent learning a custom software solution is preferred
Training experience preferred
