Operations manager
EX NIHILO PARIS is redefining luxury perfumery with a commitment to innovation and craftsmanship. They are seeking an Operations Manager to support their U.S. expansion by driving strategic initiatives, optimizing processes, and ensuring operational excellence in the logistics domain.
Responsibilities
Lead key initiatives linked to product flows as the brand accelerates its U.S. footprint, ensuring that every operational pillar evolves in line with our growth ambitions
Take a key role in the major Systems Upgrade planned for Q1/Q2 2026, working hand‑in‑hand with Paris Headquarters and our Logistics provider to:
Map and understand current (“as is”) workflows
Support implementation of future (“to be”) processes that enable scale, efficiency, and long‑term performance
Champion process optimization and scalability, identifying opportunities to streamline operations and elevate the overall performance of the U.S. supply chain
Partner closely with Finance to support forecasting, growth planning, and business plan execution, ensuring operational readiness aligns with commercial ambitions
Translate strategic ambitions into day‑to‑day operational execution
Own and orchestrate the B2B order flow:
Validate and optimize all EDI orders, acting as the key partner for Direct Retail teams to resolve issues swiftly and efficiently
Manage order placement for non‑EDI partners, ensuring a seamless and premium experience
Enhance e‑commerce operational performance in collaboration with the E‑commerce Customer Service Representative, continuously refining flows to support a smooth and elevated customer journey
Maintain operational accuracy and reliability by keeping product catalogs and B2B customer profiles fully up to date
Safeguard product availability through weekly inventory monitoring, proactive stock level management, and timely replenishment decisions
Maintain close, proactive communication with retailers to streamline order flows, anticipate challenges, and prevent issues such as chargebacks or disruptions linked to OOS or discontinued items
Ensure strong EDI compliance, guiding partners toward best practices and fostering smooth, reliable data exchanges
Track and analyze operational KPIs to uncover performance trends, diagnose root causes, and implement targeted corrective actions that drive measurable improvements
Collaborate closely with internal teams (Sales, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance) to align priorities, share insights, and enhance end‑to‑end logistics processes — from forecasting and replenishment to order management and e‑commerce operations
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in complex, cross‑functional logistics environments
Proven track record implementing new logistics systems
Experience with scaling operations, change management, and/or business transformation initiatives
Entrepreneurial mindset; ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
Strategic thinking combined with strong execution skills
Operational excellence & process optimization
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Strong aptitude for systems (ERP, WMS, CRM, OMS, etc.)
Attention to detail and a results‑driven mindset
