The Body Shop Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for customers, managing communication, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a smooth process from dropoff to delivery.

Responsibilities

Greet customers in person and over the phone with a friendly, professional demeanor

Schedule repair appointments and coordinate with estimators, technicians, and insurance partners

Check customers in and out, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately

Maintain organized records of repair orders, estimates, invoices, and customer files

Communicate repair status updates to customers in a timely and clear manner

Assist with processing payments and verifying insurance information when needed

Support the body shop manager and team with administrative tasks and daily workflow

Enter and update data in internal systems; generate reports as requested

Handle incoming calls, emails, and walkin inquiries efficiently and professionally

Ensure the reception area is clean, welcoming, and wellorganized
