Responsibilities
Represent the Division of Family Services in Dependency and Neglect Custody hearings, Termination of Parental Rights hearings, and Child Protection Registry Substantiation hearings before the Family Court
Represent DFS in Supreme Court appeals resulting from the various hearings
Attend hearings and draft, file and respond to pleadings in the Family Court
Participate in case planning meetings with DFS and prepare appellate briefs
Qualification

Ability to research accurately and effectively
Ability to learn and apply relevant laws, rules of evidence, and court rules
Excellent verbal communication skills

Eligibility for limited admission to the Delaware Bar pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 55
Legally authorized to work in the United States
