Senior Federal Technology Architect

Oracle Health is seeking a Mid-level Federal Technology Architect (IC2) to join our team. This individual will play a key role in designing, developing, and integrating technical solutions for Oracle Health and federal client systems.

Responsibilities

Evaluate existing and proposed systems to determine requirements and ensure solutions meet organizational needs
Design and develop integration solutions between Oracle Health and federal client applications
Create and document visual representations (e.g., diagrams, flowcharts) of system inputs, outputs, and architectures
Partner with internal and external delivery teams to implement integration solutions within defined project scopes
Collaborate with engineering teams, development teams, client end users, and stakeholders as appropriate
Continuously look for opportunities to automate manual tasks and improve system efficiency

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience (Engineering degree preferred)
2-5 years of hands-on engineering or architecture experience, including design, development, and team collaboration
Proficiency with enterprise architecture diagramming or technical design tools (e.g., Visio, Draw.io, or related)
Experience aligning work with established enterprise and/or federal standards
Strong communication and rapport-building skills for effective collaboration with team members, clients, and stakeholders
Willingness to accept new assignments, 'dive in' with limited oversight, and learn new technologies, architectures, and tools

Preferred

Experience in DoDAF, government, healthcare, or architecture modeling
Proven track record of working with large-scale, distributed systems
Demonstrated initiative to automate processes and optimize system workflows

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
