InterMetro Industries Corporation is a leader in storage and transport products in the Food Service, Commercial Products, and Healthcare Industries. They are seeking full-time Production Associates for their Sheet Metal Assembly Department, where associates will utilize hand tools to assemble products and ensure quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

Assembles various components of Metro product to manufacture customized finished product

Reads and interprets orders to ensure the finished product meets customer orders

Uses computer to research product specifications

Checks parts dimensions using a variety of measuring equipment

Must have basic math skills

Meets production and quality standards

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Cleans and maintains work area

Must be available to work overtime as business needs dictate

Ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment

Regular attendance is required

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required

Ability to perform all job duties within the department to support various functions

Candidates selected for these positions must successfully complete screening requirements and a probationary period of 400 working hours

Applicants should be available to work any shift

Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment

Previous experience working with hand tools
