You will be the backbone of our hotel's operations, ensuring all systems and equipment run smoothly for our guests' comfort and safety
Your daily tasks will include managing maintenance staff, overseeing repairs and upgrades, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and codes
You will report to the General Manager
Starting as a chief engineer can lead to a variety of opportunities within the hospitality industry, such as regional engineering director, director of rooms, or even a corporate-level position in hotel operations
Qualification
Required
A college degree or two years of hotel experience
Previous experience in this exact position
Previous experience in a similar or related position
A combination of education and experience
Eligible to work in the United States
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required—with or without reasonable accommodations
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
