Gestalt Community Schools is a system of K-12 college-preparatory charter schools in Tennessee, seeking a dedicated Financial Literacy Teacher to empower students with essential financial knowledge and skills. The role involves delivering engaging instruction on personal finance topics while fostering critical thinking and real-world application in a collaborative school environment.

Responsibilities
Design and deliver high-quality, engaging financial literacy instruction aligned to state standards and Gestalt Community Schools’ academic framework
Teach core financial concepts, including budgeting, banking, credit, debt management, investing, insurance, taxes, and financial goal-setting
Integrate real-world scenarios, project-based learning, and technology to enhance student understanding and engagement
Use data-driven instructional strategies to monitor student progress and adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs
Create a classroom environment that is inclusive, supportive, and promotes financial responsibility and lifelong learning
Collaborate with school leadership, instructional coaches, and colleagues to improve curriculum and instructional practices
Communicate regularly with students, families, and school staff regarding academic progress and expectations
Maintain accurate records of student achievement, attendance, and assessments
Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school-wide initiatives
Uphold Gestalt Community Schools’ mission, values, and commitment to student excellence
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Education, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
Valid state teaching license or eligibility for licensure (as applicable)
Demonstrated knowledge of personal finance and financial literacy concepts
Strong classroom management and instructional skills
