Responsibilities
Serve as the senior finance leader and trusted advisor to executive leadership
Drive financial strategy aligned with company growth, profitability, and operational goals
Provide actionable insights through financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting
Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and month-end close
Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial statements
Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes
Monitor performance against budget and identify risks and opportunities
Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards to leadership
Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital
Support capital planning, financing strategies, and investment decisions
Oversee tax planning and coordination with external advisors
Evaluate and improve financial systems, tools, and processes
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team
Build scalable financial infrastructure to support growth
Collaborate with operations, development, HR, and IT leaders
Support unit-level economics, labor analysis, and cost control initiatives
Provide financial support for new openings, acquisitions, or strategic initiatives
Qualification
Required
10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience
Proven leadership experience managing accounting and finance teams
Strong knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
Experience with multi-unit P&L management and unit-level analytics
Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels
Preferred
Prior experience in hospitality, retail, or multi-unit operations strongly preferred
CPA and/or MBA preferred but not required
