Responsibilities
Read project drawings, work orders, and procedures
Position, align, and adjust components for proper fit & function
Layout, drill, tap, or punch holes in sheet metal enclosure units
Perform basic setups and operations of lathe and milling machines
Cut stainless steel tubing to length using an automatic saw
Complete production paperwork and recordkeeping
Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area
Qualification
Required
Must have good vision and dexterity
Must be able to stand, bend, twist, and sit throughout the day for extended periods of time
Be able to follow protocols and direction thoroughly and repetitively
1-2 years' experience in a production, assembly, or manufacturing environment
Familiarity with the operation of common manufacturing tools and equipment
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Preferred
A basic knowledge of machine shop practices
