Responsibilities

Build and maintain privacy-first, accessible, and performant UIs using React and TypeScript
Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and backend engineers
Write clean, testable code and contribute to front-end best practices
Help evolve front-end architecture and component libraries
Use AI-assisted tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) thoughtfully in prototyping and testing
Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers when opportunities arise

Qualification

Required

5+ years of professional front-end development experience
Strong proficiency with React, including React Hooks and component patterns
Deep understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, performance tuning, and testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
Experience with REST API integration
Knowledge of accessibility and usability principles (WCAG, ARIA)
U.S. residency required

Preferred

Experience with Next.js, Tailwind, or Storybook
Familiarity with Python backends (FastAPI, Flask, Django)
Experience contributing to internal design systems or component libraries
Background in privacy tech, security, or regulated environments
