Postdoctoral Associate

Responsibilities

Design and synthesize new biomaterials/nanoparticles for drug/gene delivery
Design and conduct in vivo experiments to evaluate the delivery efficiency and mechanism
Immune profiling of diseases and therapeutic outcomes
Conduct immunological assays, including flow cytometry, ELISA, ELISPOT, and cytokine profiling, to assess immune responses
Perform CRISPR gene editing protocols
Perform molecular biology techniques, such as PCR, qRT-PCR, Western blotting, and sequencing, to analyze gene expression and editing outcomes
Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, protocols, and results in accordance with lab standards
Supervise and mentor junior lab members, including graduate students and technicians, as required
Assist in writing scientific papers and grants

Required

PhD in a relevant field such as immunology, molecular biology, or biomedical engineering
Experience in designing and synthesizing biomaterials/nanoparticles for drug/gene delivery
Experience in conducting in vivo experiments to evaluate delivery efficiency and mechanism
Experience in immune profiling of diseases and therapeutic outcomes
Proficiency in conducting immunological assays, including flow cytometry, ELISA, ELISPOT, and cytokine profiling
Experience with CRISPR gene editing protocols
Proficiency in molecular biology techniques, such as PCR, qRT-PCR, Western blotting, and sequencing
Strong record-keeping skills to maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, protocols, and results
Ability to supervise and mentor junior lab members, including graduate students and technicians
Strong writing skills for scientific papers and grants
