Responsibilities
Receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
Posting payments and reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing with system reports
Verifying employee expense reports and ensuring that they have the proper documentation and approvals
Verifying credit card transactions and matching receipts. Making requests for missing receipts and following up to ensure that everything is documented and reconciled
Verifying vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions. Research and resolve vendor account discrepancies
Maintaining historical records of all invoices, reports, receipts, and payments by saving documents properly on the network. Keeping vendor and supplier information up to date
Prepare necessary AP reports within deadline requirements
Qualification
Required
Minimum 4 years' experience
Ability to use Excel spreadsheets and email applications
Familiarity with accounting software
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of basic accounting concepts
Strong attention to detail
Preferred
Formal training/education a plus
