Responsibilities
Manage code and deployment pipelines
Standardize deployment processes between multiple products
Automate manual processes
Maintain and patch services in a mixed environment
Scale environments
Implement best practices
Collaborate with and mentor other DevOps engineers
Drive a consistent architecture across all of our infrastructure and environments
Solve technical problems in a fast-paced environment
Own all CI/CD pipelines
Manage and maintain upgrades, patching as needed for different services
Manage and maintain configuration tools
Love writing playbooks and documenting, documenting, documenting, including owning Disaster Recovery and Incident Response playbooks
Qualification
Required
5+ years of DevOps experience
Expert knowledge in AWS administration and maintenance
Expert knowledge in Terraform and/or AWS CDK
Expert knowledge in container technologies including AWS AppRunner, ECS and EKS
Expert knowledge in SQL Server, and in particular SQL Server on RDS
Expert knowledge in deploying and monitoring .NET applications
Experience with OpenTelemetry
Experience with high availability and scalable cloud infrastructure
Experience with serverless architectures and collaborating with software engineers on implementing and maintaining them in production environments
Own all CI/CD pipelines
Manage and maintain upgrades, patching as needed for different services
Manage and maintain configuration tools
Programming skills in one more of the following: C#, Python, Powershell, Bash
Experience with SQL
Experience with GitLab, and some Azure services
Strong analytical and problem solving skills and a clear understanding of technology operating standards
Love writing playbooks and documenting, documenting, documenting, including owning Disaster Recovery and Incident Response playbooks
