Responsibilities
The MLPT Polymer group supports a range of Machine Learning platform products including: Bolt, Hub, Lightning and many Data Platform systems. These are all internal production tools supported via multiple Polymer offerings, including authentication (Notary), authorization (Directory), and collaboration (Squad) services. The ML ecosystem at client has increasingly adopted Polymer services over the previous 3 years
The team is lean, building and operating multiple services to internal customers
Manage Kubernetes clusters by performing improvements and regular maintenance. Perform cloud infrastructure operational tasks
Perform Database administration tasks including migration, instrumenting of telemetry, performance monitoring, cost monitoring and consolidation
CI/CD-focused projects that include implementing features for GitOps + software lifecycle tooling and processes
Qualification
Required
Kubernetes (configuration, operations, deployment) and related technologies: Helm, ArgoCD, GitOps
SQL database administration
Python + Bash scripting
3-5 years experience with Kubernetes
3-5 years experience with AWS
3-5 years experience in Database administration: Postgres, RDS (eg. Aurora)
3 years experience in Python
Operational Experience with cloud-based service infrastructure (DNS, loadbalancing, ingress, telemetry and logging)
