Responsibilities
To prepare a quality product for incoming quality assurance by washing, chlorinating, and drying the product according to established procedures
Performing daily checks of machine operation, chemical supply, leaks, and pH levels; weighing cushions for approximately 300 pounds to enter the washing machine and chlorinator; sorting conformals by size per work orders; delivering product to appropriate department
Preparing conformals and backs for washing and/or chlorination process; running machines according to work instructions; running conformals through dryer; entering necessary documentation on the chlorination log; loading conformals into dryer for drying purposes; inspecting conformals for defects; entering defects into the computer
Operating all machinery in a safe and efficient manner; reporting any safety hazards to assigned supervisor or safety manager; complying with all safety and quality policies, practices, and procedures; keep a clean and organized workspace
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or GED required
One to three months related experience required
