MyPetroCareer.com is seeking an experienced QC Welding Inspector for a large Energy Transition project in Teesside on an initial 3 month contract. The role involves executing inspections on materials, equipment, and construction activities, ensuring compliance with quality control plans, and managing documentation related to inspections and tests.

Responsibilities

As the QC Welding Inspector, you will execute inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site

Follow relevant specified procedures, issue the relevant Quality Records and write non-conformances reports for the Quality Control Supervisor

As the QC Welding Inspector, you will verify welding parameters and consumables during operations, the availability of welding procedures (WPS/PQR) and welders’ qualifications

Check the availability and suitability of the welding equipment consumables, pre-heating, welding, heat treatment, bevels, the extent of the repairs made by the various welders (taking any corrective action required), the heat treatment record diagrams

As the QC Welding Inspector, you will collect and manage documents certifying test, controls and inspection documents

Ensure that all civil works and testing related records are properly retrievable within the final As- Built dossier

In case of subcontractor activities, ensure the correct implementation of the approved QC/ Inspection Test Plans, witnessing inspection and collecting relevant Quality Control records

As the QC Welding Inspector, you will ensure the conformity with the Quality Control Plan and obtain the relevant documentation
