Responsibilities
Scheduling appointments with consideration of insurance details
Greeting patients professionally to collect demographic and financial information
Processing referral information while maintaining patient confidentiality
Creating a friendly, welcoming calm and efficient environment for the practice
Serving patients with poise and compassion virtually or on-site
Fielding phone calls
Answering patient questions
Scheduling new and follow-up appointments
Registering patients and updating records
Representing the entire practice every time there is interaction with a patient
Assisting with the training of Medical Office Assistant staff
Providing guidance with workflow questions
Qualification
Required
High School Graduate or GED required
2 years' experience in a medical office practice setting is required
Preferred
3 years' experience is preferred
